Junior Golf Lessons & Summer Camps 

Individual private junior golf lessons are for youth ages 7-17 and provide an introduction to the basics including stance, grip, etiquette and rules. Covering all aspects of the golf swing and incorporating irons, woods, wedges (including bunker play), chipping, and putting, these lessons are great for beginning and advanced junior players alike.  If you're interested in basic instruction or taking the game up to competition level give us a call.

Junior Golf    4-Day Camps   July 11-14    &    July 18-21

Two Summer 4 Day camps will be held in July this year.  Sign up by calling the Pro Shop (913) 829-5643.

  • Summer Golf Camps are designed for teaching juniors all aspects of the game of golf.  It’s a great introductory to proper fundamentals and golf etiquette for youngsters and is excellent if they are just starting in golf.  Ages 7-13
  • We will meet for 2 hour sessions each day, Tuesday - Friday starting at 8:30am
  • Cost is $100 per junior.

 Average Agenda:   

Tuesday                  Intro to the full swing, Irons and Woods

Wednesday             Intro to the short game - Putting,

Thursday                Chipping, Sand, and Full Swing

Friday                     Drive, Chip, & Putt contest and on the course work! 


This season take advanage of Junior Golf Play "Kids Play Free"  at Heritage Park. For the months of June, July, and August!

After 5:30pm 7 days a week up to two kids play for free with each paid adult green fees and cart fees too. Notes, only two riders on a cart at a time, and juniors are not allowed to drive.  All juniors age 6-17 are eligible.  

Youth on Course

Heritage Park and Tomahawk Hills are 2017 Youh on Course facilities.  YoC members play for $5 green fees Monday-Thursday and after 3:00pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.

Youth on Course allows participants in The First Tee and other programs the opportunity to play at more than 330 courses for $5 or less, but also offer need and merit-based opportunities.  See youthoncourse.org for more information.
